Join NWP@NCTE!

Join your colleagues from around the network at this year’s NCTE Annual Convention. Writing Project teacher-leaders will be facilitating a wide variety of sessions at the Convention, and NWP will host a brunch for the network on Sunday, November 22. The perennial NWP exhibit booth will be up and running in the virtual exhibit hall as well. We hope to see you there!

Location and Sleeping Rooms

The Convention will be held at the Denver Convention Center. Sleeping rooms are available at a variety of nearby hotels through the NCTE Housing Bureau.

Thursday Gathering

This year we’re are planning to host a gathering for the Writing Project network on Thursday, November 19. Join us to connect with colleagues, hear about future plans, and plan for a fun few days at NCTE. Additionally, NWP Merchandise will be available for purchase during this gathering.

National Writing Project Brunch

Be sure to register for the NCTE Convention and join us at the NWP Brunch on Sunday, November 22. The brunch requires a separate, pre-purchased ticket (available for purchase during registration). NWP Merchandise will also be available for purchase during the NWP Brunch.

This gathering is designed for teachers affiliated with Writing Project sites around the country. Join your colleagues for food and conversation about issues important to your Writing Project site, teaching writing, and more. 

NWP Sessions at NCTE

NWP has its own strand of sessions at this year’s NCTE Annual Convention!

Check out the NCTE Schedule and look for the National Writing Project tag on sessions when you plan which sessions to attend.

NWP Booth

While you’re at NCTE, be sure to stop by the exhibit hall and visit us at the NWP Booth. NWP staff and local teacher-consultants will be on hand to provide information about the Writing Project. The booth will also feature a game and NWP giveaways.

Friday, 10:00 a.m–6:30 p.m.
Saturday, 11:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.
Sunday, 8:00 a.m.–11:30 a.m.
