This site is for any teacher that wants to learn more about what it means to be a National Writing Project teacher-consultant as well as teaching writing, becoming a leader, and resources for leading professional development for other teachers.
First, we recommend using the search bar at the top of each page. There’s a drop-down to the right of the search bar where you can select specific parts of the site to narrow your focus. Our collection of resources is also sorted into categories and tags.
Search results are returned by relevance. The search first looks for all words you enter, and if all terms aren’t found, then results with any of the words entered are returned. You can search for exact matches by putting your search term in quotes (i.e. “teacher inquiry” will only return results with both words matched exactly—not all articles containing teacher OR inquiry). Once you click on a search result, your search term(s) will be highlighted in pink.
