The WRITE Center Fall Learning Series

In partnership with the WRITE Center, NWP is excited to announce a three-part online learning series for this fall entitled A Time for Action: Centering Equity Through Responsive Transformative Healing Literacy Instruction. The series begins in September and features webinars by educators and researchers David E. Kirkland, Maisha T. Winn, and Antero Garcia.

#WriteOut Coming this October

Coming October 11-25, 2020, Write Out is a series of online activities where educators, students, and the public are invited to explore national parks and other public spaces to connect and learn through place-based writing and sharing. The theme of this year’s event is Stories Around the Campfire. Sign up for updates!

NWP’s NCTE Session will Feature Ebony Flowers

NWP will have a session to replace our traditional Sunday brunch, and we are thrilled that our speaker will be Ebony Flowers. Ebony, a writer and graphic novelist, just won the 2020 Eisner Award for Best Short Story. Join the session and help us celebrate!
